I finally finished a project!

...and the kicks continue

Ryan officially felt her kicking for the first time this morning. He was so excited when he felt it and couldn't believe it at first :) It was so sweet to share that moment with him.

In other news, we bought primer for the nursery today. I'm going to take before and after pics of the primer phase. After we prime the lower portion of the room, we still need to paint it blue, and then paint the upper portion pink :) I can't wait!

I officially felt her last night!

I was ironically on the phone last night with my bestie, when I felt these bubble feelings at the bottom of my belly. Everyone says that the kicks feel like bubbles and I never knew what they were talking about because my placenta is in the front, so it's like the baby was kicking a pillow the whole time. Luckily, I guess my placenta either changed position, or the baby is getting too big for it to matter - but I felt it last night! I also felt it a little bit this morning. It's a lot easier to find now that I know what feeling to look for.

The Baby's Room

The countdown has officially begun. I go back to work in exactly a week... much to my sadness. This is mostly due to the fact that I'm always tired! However, I am making myself do something productive today. My goal is to clean out the baby's room (there's some stuff stored in there) so that we can prep it for painting! I really want to get the painting done tomorrow during the day. I'd also like to get our bedroom organized as well. Now I just need to actually begin the things I've set out to do... this is obviously more difficult than it seems to be.

Our little family

This picture was taken on the day that we found out our little baby is a GIRL! I am so excited. I definitely had some "Mommy Intuition" and called her a "she" since day 1. I am so excited for pink things, dresses, playing with dolls, and doing her hair! I can't wait for her to be here. January is way too far away.
