So, while I put this book aside as I read Mockingjay, I finally finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson today. Yes, there were parts that had me glued to "solve the mystery", but I completely forgot there was going to be a "mystery" until 1/3 into the book. To say that the beginning of the book is slow is an understatement. It took me a really long time to get through it because I didn't want to continue reading it. It wasn't until Anthony Rapp's review on Twitter that made me want to sit down and devote time to complete it. The book made shocking turns and I enjoyed it. I just did not enjoy the fluff around the mystery. I kept wanting to skim by it as I was reading. I intend on reading the next book in the trilogy, but I am hoping that it doesn't contain the same slow-pace that this one had at times.
